Google launches a new app "YouTube Music" which is similar to music streaming apps like Spotify, Apple Music, Saavan etc. Youtube Music is Google latest attempt at working on music streaming plateform. So, It has to compete with the other trending music streaming application.
Google launched this app to replace with Google Play Music,but while both services will continued. Google is pushing YouTube Music harder and more aggressively than ever.But in count of subescribers they are far behind than other service providers. Google try to push this app with set of GApps packages on new smartphones for adoption of this app by new customers. so the Devices launching with set of android 9 or above version it will come with the pre-installed Youtube Music App.

Many customers don't show any interest to Youtube music app beacuse GPM app is more easy to use than this new one. Now the app will be just come to you if buy a new smartphone with android 9 or above version, whether it will better or worse for you. If you are already a YouTube Music user than this will be cool news for you. But if you are not user than this is a part of Google's effort for its adoption just like when Google Play Music launched it was came with android smartphone as a pre-installed app. Many subscribers uses GPM as a primary music player beacuse of it's easy to play your local music library.
This app is, however, a decent music streaming app by google,and they want at least you should try this app for yourself. If you don't want to use this app further than you can uninstalled this app from your mobile,or disable it.
